In a small-scale residential facility of a care organization, six young people for whom living at home is temporarily not possible reside. They need peace, clarity, safety, and a place where they can build their future. As a supervisor, you are an important stable factor in their daily lives and get the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people with your knowledge and commitment.

You provide structure and proximity, respond to what a young person needs, and know how to act professionally and predictably even in challenging situations. Together with colleagues, you work on a positive living environment where young people can gradually grow in confidence, independence, and resilience. This involves tailor-made care.

What you will do.

• Guide young people in daily life and according to the support plan
• Create a safe, positive, and development-oriented living environment
• Signal, report, and coordinate with colleagues, parents, and involved professionals
• Support personal goals and development
• Be the personal supervisor for a number of young people
• Contribute to structure, clarity, and a stable living environment
• Participate in team meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration

What they ask

• A relevant HBO diploma and a valid SKJ registration
• Work independently, maintain an overview, and act professionally in challenging situations
• Be a strong collaborative partner for colleagues, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders involved with the young person
• Dare to reflect on your own actions, be open to feedback, and provide it respectfully
• Understand the importance of continuity within a 24-hour facility and actively contribute to it
• Be willing to work irregular shifts, weekends, and sleeping shifts
• Possess a B driving license
