A new local lifestyle magazine will be launched soon. An ambitious (starting) journalist or editor is sought to contribute to the establishment of this magazine as a co-entrepreneur. An enthusiastic freelance editor or journalist is sought to assist in writing interviews and background articles for a local lifestyle magazine. The magazine primarily targets women (25-45 years old) and will initially appear once a quarter.
Even with a limited portfolio, but with a fluent pen, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in lifestyle topics, you are invited to apply.
What you will do.
- Independently write reviews of lifestyle locations such as hospitality venues and shops, and conduct interviews
- Write and edit attractive and clear texts in Dutch
- Contribute ideas for fresh angles for content
- Collaborate with sponsors; maintaining contact with sponsors will also be part of the work in consultation
Profile
- You are a (starting) freelancer, recently graduated (e.g., in Journalism, Communication, or Media) or still studying
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch language
- You are proactive and can accurately estimate deadlines
- Experience is not a strict requirement; motivation, interpersonal skills, and a good writing style are decisive
