Information Management and Data Quality Advisor
As an Information Management and Data Quality Advisor at a government organization, you will have a versatile role at the intersection of information management, data quality, and functional management. You will ensure that information is reliable, findable, and well-managed. At the same time, you will be an important point of contact for colleagues with questions or problems regarding information systems.
You will handle first-line inquiries, analyze the source of a problem, and create technical tickets where necessary. Additionally, you will supervise the quality of information management. You will check, signal, and advise.
What you will do.
- Advise on information management, archiving, retention periods, and destruction of information
- Monitor the quality of files, metadata, classifications, and information in our systems
- Perform checks and identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Support internal stakeholders with first-line questions and functional problems in information systems
- Create, follow up, and monitor technical tickets and support users of the case management system
- Handle questions related to specific legislation
- Advise and support internal stakeholders on careful information management and digital work processes
Profile
- Completed MBO-4 study, preferably MBO-4+ and/or HBO work and thinking level, suitable for information management, ICT, Information Management, or a comparable study
- Affinity with information management and functional management
- Knowledge of archiving, retention periods, and the destruction of information, or willingness to develop further in this area
- Preferably, knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Archives Act
- Experience with or interest in case management systems, document management systems, and other digital information systems
- Affinity with first-line functional support and working with technical tickets
- A keen eye for quality and the ability to quickly identify deviations and bottlenecks
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Analytical, accurate, quality-oriented, organizationally sensitive
