Within an innovative and interdisciplinary research program, a motivated postdoc is sought who is energized by organizing complex research and collaborating in a large multidisciplinary team.
What you will do. Within the research program, you will be part of a data infrastructure support team. You will work with researchers, data managers, and research assistants who collectively conduct a cohort enrichment study. Your main task is to maintain an overview of data management within the study. You will ensure that data processes align well and contribute to smooth collaboration within the team. Your responsibilities include:
- keeping standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data management and data processing up to date
- contributing to the development of the data governance framework
- contributing to cohort record linkage
- coordinating planning, communication, and data processes within the team
- performing data analysis and writing scientific articles
You will combine your activities for the cohort enrichment study with independent scientific research. A substantial part of your time will be spent supporting the study. Additionally, you will work on data analysis, scientific publications, and the further development of your own research profile.

- a PhD in psychology, health sciences, neurosciences, biomedical sciences, epidemiology, bioinformatics, computer science, or a related discipline. Candidates who are close to completing their dissertation are also encouraged to apply
- good programming skills in R, Python, or similar tools and experience or a strong interest in working with large, multimodal datasets
- demonstrable experience in writing scientific articles and an interest in supervising students
- excellent oral and written proficiency in Dutch and English. Fluent Dutch is a requirement for this position
- strong communication and social skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Practical
- You will be employed by a research institution
- Salary: € 3,724 to € 5,867 gross per month (depending on experience)
- You will receive an 8.3% year-end bonus
- 100% public transport reimbursement. For walking, cycling, or car travel, you will receive an allowance of €0.21 per km (maximum 40 km one way for car)

- The research program focuses on stress in daily life, how it can be reliably measured, what factors contribute to stress, and how stress is related to the onset of psychological and cardiometabolic disorders. Data is collected via smartphones, wearables, and Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA)
