Clinical Psychologist
A specialized center is looking for an enthusiastic colleague to strengthen its multidisciplinary team. The center focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of hyperventilation, stress-related disorders, and somatically unexplained physical complaints (SOLK). There is close collaboration with university research groups.
The center aims for cross-pollination between research and clinical practice to make current scientific knowledge accessible to the general public and to guarantee a practice based on scientific insights.
What you will do.
- Independently undertake and develop diagnostic questions and subsequent therapy based on evidence-based treatment pillars
- Close collaboration with other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team
- Weekly team meeting
- Opportunity to develop specific projects (e.g., group therapy, giving lectures, courses, training)
- Willingness to participate in specialized training related to the field of expertise, continuous education, and involvement in research projects
Profile
- Bachelor, licentiate, or master in Clinical and Health Psychology
- Behavioral therapist (in training) or willingness to follow the postgraduate training in behavioral therapy
- Strong affinity with at least one of the following domains: anxiety disorders, trauma processing, attachment issues, stress-related complaints, psychosomatics, functional syndromes (CFS, fibromyalgia, chronic pain)
- Great interest in further training in the center's field of expertise
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Flexible, dynamic, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Team player and highly motivated to contribute to a growing multidisciplinary operation
Practical
- Preferably a full-time work schedule, minimum a part-time position
- A pleasant and stimulating work environment with adapted accommodation (modern practice rooms with therapy material, physiological measurement and biofeedback equipment, psychodiagnostic test material, waiting room, sanitary facilities, kitchen and meeting room, room for group therapy or lectures)
- Flexibility in working hours
- Extensive network and close ties with university centers, nationally and internationally
- Opportunity to stay up-to-date and participate in the latest developments within the field of expertise
