Family Coach

GelderlandHybrid24 hours/week<3months

As a family coach, you are the first point of contact for young people (in their own living environment, at schools, on the street, etc.) or for families to prevent initial problems. You provide short-term or long-term support to families and others. If necessary, you refer to specialized help and are able to perform case management. You keep an eye on the safety of children and young people in their living environment.

When it is unsafe, you dare to discuss this and can draw up a safety plan together with the child's/young person's environment. You work systemically and solution-oriented. You are the point of contact for professionals in the front-line for consultation and strengthening prevention. You can collaborate with specialized organizations. Within a local information point, you work closely with relevant colleagues according to the principle: one family, one plan, one director.

Furthermore, you support colleagues in dealing with specific questions in the field of behavioral problems, and you manage your caseload, which is a mix of behavioral problems and other issues. You determine with the family what specialized care may be needed and perform case management where necessary, collaborating with various parties. You discuss your cases in case consultations if necessary and can fall back on the orthopedagogue or supervisor if needed.

This involves a replacement for a colleague and is therefore an embedded function with continuous core activities.
