The workplace is a small-scale residential location where six adult clients with EMB live. Each client has individual support needs and deserves personal attention. What you will do. As a Disability Care Support Worker (EMB), you ensure that clients feel safe, seen, and comfortable. You guide, care for, and support them in everything necessary to have a good day. You continuously observe what a client needs to have a good day. The work is physically varied: you are active, help clients with daily care, and undertake activities, but you also have sufficient moments for guidance, contact with relatives, reporting, and consultation.
This creates a pleasant balance between physical and supportive tasks.
Your responsibilities include:
- Guiding and caring for clients during daily routines.
- Responding to individual wishes, needs, and signals.
- Creating a calm, structured, and safe living environment.
- Stimulating activities, movement, and experience.
- Collaborating with colleagues, therapists, and family.
Profile
- Completed MBO education at level 3 or 4 in healthcare (e.g., Nursing, Personal Support Worker Specific Target Groups, Social Care (MMZ) or Caregiver IG)
- Relevant work experience in disability care
- Flexible in an irregular work schedule (no night shifts)
