An association of midwives is looking for an experienced midwife to strengthen its Birth team. This organization has been offering comprehensive birth and parenting support since 2010. Its mission is to support the midwifery profession. The team provides daily comprehensive follow-up, including autonomous deliveries. The organization recently moved into a renovated building where other healthcare professionals also offer consultations.
What you do
- Medical consultations
- Birth preparation
- Deliveries (at home, in a birth center, or in a delivery room on a technical platform)
- Home care
- Development of independent activities: workshops, care, etc. (income diversification based on skills)
Team responsibilities.
- Participation in meetings and the life of the midwife team and the collective
- Sharing of logistical and coordination tasks within the team
- Participation in transversal projects (multidisciplinary projects, support for the organization's development projects)
What they ask
- At least two years of experience in a delivery room
- Independent status (main or complementary)
- De-conventioned (or willing to become so)
- Desire to work in a team
- Curious and ready to learn
- Enjoys reflecting on the midwifery profession and training
- French and English minimum B1 (Dutch is a real plus)
- Entrepreneurial spirit to develop midwifery activities and team projects
