Strategic Advisor Integrated Management

The position of Strategic Advisor Integrated Management is structurally vacant.

• To ensure the continuity of strategic advice within the Management team and to continue ongoing developments, a municipal organization is seeking temporary reinforcement.
• The activities are part of the regular organization and are carried out within the Management team, in close collaboration with managers, policy advisors, team leaders, management, and the board.
• The assignment is successfully completed when the continuity of strategic management advice is secured, strategic advice has been provided for the preparation, substantiation, and prioritization of investment issues and the Multi-Year Investment Plan (MIP), management, board, and professional disciplines have been adequately advised on strategic issues within public space management, a contribution has been made to the further development of integrated and task-oriented work within the Management team, and ongoing files and tasks have been continued without interruption.

What you will do.

• Fulfill an advisory and connecting role at the intersection of management, policy, and implementation.
• Ensure coherence between the various management disciplines within public space.
• Contribute to integrated considerations that align with the organization's long-term ambitions.
• Establish connections between fields such as roads, sewerage, water, greenery, traffic, and public lighting.
• Link management tasks to developments within other policy areas, area developments, and societal challenges.
• Make a significant contribution to the strategic steering of public space management.
• Bring together technical issues, investment tasks, financial considerations, and administrative ambitions in integrated advice and proposals.
• Contribute to the further development of integrated and task-oriented work within the Management team.
• Support the organization in strengthening the coherence between management, policy, investments, and implementation.

Activities.

• Develop, update, and disseminate the strategic vision on integrated management.
• Monitor the coherence between various management disciplines, projects, and tasks within public space.
• Translate municipal objectives into integrated management tasks, priorities, and strategic choices.
• Identify opportunities, risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and organize integrated coordination between involved disciplines and stakeholders.
• Play a central role in the preparation, substantiation, and prioritization of investment issues and the Multi-Year Investment Plan (MIP).
• Advise on the prioritization of tasks and integrated considerations within public space.
• Ensure the strategic connection between integrated management and policy objectives within the Living Environment and the Social Domain.
• Advise managers, team leaders, management, and portfolio holders on complex integrated issues within public space management.
• Contribute to the further development of integrated and task-oriented work within the Management team.
