Communications Officer

Your role focuses on internal and external communication for an international organization in the Netherlands and Belgium, with a strong emphasis on online communication in the Netherlands.

What you will do.

• Co-develop and execute an annual (online) communication plan.
• Set up and implement a social media strategy in collaboration with European colleagues.
• Monitor social media and proactively post messages and engage in interaction via the organization's channels.
• Manage and maintain internal and external online platforms (intranet and websites).
• Maintain relationships with colleagues from other locations within the international organization.
• Participate in the crisis team and support internal and external communication around incidents and crisis situations.
• Support locations in the Netherlands and Belgium with their local internal communication.

What they ask

• Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in Communication.
• Knowledge and experience with online communication tools and social media.
• Passion for and experience with writing for various (digital) communication channels.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
