You will develop value-driven AI applications that help a municipal organization and its residents. You will work within an innovation lab where AI and other new technologies are experimented with. This lab brings together knowledge and experience by experimenting, learning, and accelerating promising developments. You share lessons and results from projects to increase the innovative power within the entire organization.
What you will do.
- Guide AI use cases from problem definition and experimentation to production and scaling.
- With extensive experience: guide more complex use cases and take more lead in the further development of the innovation lab.
- Follow the organization's innovation process, based on design thinking.
- Provide structure, monitor progress, and keep public values such as privacy, equality, and autonomy sharply in focus.
- Work closely with colleagues from within the municipal organization.
- Involve colleagues in the development of use cases through sessions and workshops.
- Connect societal and organizational issues with the possibilities of AI and other technologies.
- Build and maintain a network inside and outside the organization.
- Contribute to the establishment of the innovation lab.

Profile
- University level of work and thinking, with a relevant background in technology, innovation, organization, or administration.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with AI, particularly generative AI and machine learning. For a senior position: at least 5 years of relevant work experience and extensive experience with complex AI use cases.
- Knowledge of and experience with design thinking.
- Experience with digital innovation and other new technologies.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.
