For a fast-growing organization in the energy market, active in sustainability, an experienced financial leader is sought. The assignment requires a robust, hands-on financial professional who creates overview, further professionalizes the financial organization, and acts as a full sparring partner for management and shareholders.
What you will do.
- Ultimately responsible for finance, control, reporting, and financial decision-making.
- Brings calm, structure, and predictability to a dynamic, commercially driven environment.
- Strengthening of planning & control, forecasting, budgeting, and management reports.
- Improving financial processes, internal control, and data quality.
- Steering profitability, cash flow, working capital, and project margins.
- Translating financial insights into concrete commercial and operational choices.
- Guiding the finance team and establishing a future-proof finance function.
- Maintaining the relationship with the shareholder, external auditors, and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Supporting strategic issues, growth initiatives, and potential investment decisions.
Profile
- Pragmatic financial leader with experience in an entrepreneurial and changing environment.
- Effortlessly switches between strategy and operations and clearly translates complex financial issues into action.
- A completed relevant financial education at university level, preferably supplemented with RA, RC, or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including experience as Finance Director, CFO, or financially responsible leader.
- Experience within a scale-up, project organization, commercial services, or the energy/installation sector is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience with professionalization, process improvement, and financial transformation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, also within a corporate context.
- An analytical, connecting, and decisive leadership style.
- Short-term availability.
- Brings seniority without creating distance, is sharp on content, clear in communication, and engages people in change.
- Likes pace, takes ownership, and builds trust by fulfilling agreements.
