An HR specialist for flexible and temporary IT staffing is looking for an AI Developer for one of their clients. This position can be filled with either a permanent contract or a freelance contract. You will contribute to building concrete, strategic AI use cases within a Microsoft Azure environment. You will translate technical designs and business requirements into working, robust, and production-ready solutions. Your focus is explicitly on hands-on development, integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, Business Automation Analysts, Product Owners, architects, and other developers. You will actively contribute to technical choices and development standards, and support junior developers.
What you will do.
- Design, develop, and implement generative AI and machine learning solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on development of three priority AI use cases with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI
- Develop Python services, REST APIs, integrations, and intelligent automations
- Set up and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and enterprise knowledge retrieval
- Configure testing, evaluation, monitoring, logging, and observability for quality, performance
- Automate builds and deployments via Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Translate security, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements into technical controls and development standards
- Contribute to the transition from proof of concept to production, with attention to scalability, maintainability
- Develop reusable components, reference implementations, and technical best practices
- Support junior developers through pairing, code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a software developer, AI engineer, or solution engineer
- Demonstrable experience with setting up and industrializing AI solutions within a Microsoft Azure environment
- Strong knowledge of Python and experience with software engineering principles such as clean code, testing, and version control
- Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and cloud-native integration patterns
- Experience with REST APIs, identity & access management, and integrations with enterprise applications
- Practical experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD
- You can develop independently, formulate technical proposals, and take ownership of assigned components within the team
- You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You work pragmatically, critically, and result-oriented in a multidisciplinary environment
