Youth Football Coach & Role Model for Young People

• You provide training and engage in discussions with participants to guide and coach them in their development.
• Prior to the sports season, you are responsible for setting up your own team with the support of a project leader.
• During the season, you organize training sessions, matches, and other activities.
• You will receive pedagogical training within the organization.
• You act as a role model, build a bond with young people, and motivate them to bring out the best in themselves (discipline, respect, teamwork).
• You create a positive, safe, and structured sports environment where behavior and social skills are practiced.
• You offer individual guidance and conduct progress interviews with young people about their personal learning goals and choices.
• You collaborate with schools and the local sports club.
• You organize activities and attend tournaments and meetings.
• You track the attendance and progress of young people.

What they ask

• Minimum MBO-4 diploma.
• Demonstrable affinity and/or experience with the target group and the ability to act as a role model.
• Able to lead a group, demonstrate exemplary behavior, address, and set norms.
• Able to provide sports training.
• Able to build a positive relationship with participants.
• Able to work independently with educational institutions, associations, and direct colleagues.
• Willingness to provide a VOG (Certificate of Conduct).
• Willingness to follow the training offered by the organization.
• Must speak Dutch and reside in the Netherlands.
