In this role as a maintenance mechanic, you are the rescuer in case of mechanical problems. You work directly on-site at client locations and ensure that their installations continue to operate optimally. You work in a varied environment with many types of installations.
What you will do.
- Assemble and disassemble machine parts, seals, bearings, shafts
- Check and adjust fits and mechanical drives (couplings, belts, …)
- Replace and maintain motors, pumps, valves, constructions
- Perform welding work for fixations or grind stuck bolts
- Provide technical advice and collaborate with the client
Profile
- Good experience in overhauling rotating equipment
- Ability to work with most common instruments
- Knowledge of bearings and ability to assemble them; welding experience is a plus
- Strong technical insight
- Experience as a technician, mechanic, or a passion for mechanics
- Eye for safety and well-being at work
- Work in a structured manner and meticulously follow agreed procedures
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
