Architectural Project Leader Hospital

Responsible for the preparation, tendering, and realization of complex architectural projects within an operational hospital environment.

• The current project portfolio includes, among others:
• Replacement of roofs and skylights
• Renovation of a parking garage
• Various architectural projects from the Multi-Year Maintenance Plan (MJOP)
• Responsible for the entire project process: from design and preparation to tendering, execution, and delivery.
• Working in an environment where healthcare services continue uninterrupted, making careful coordination with users, technical staff, and facilities essential.

What you will do.

• Lead architectural renovation and maintenance projects from Definitive Design (DO) through to completion
• Prepare and supervise multiple private tenders (approximately three parties)
• Coordinate and manage architects, consultants, contractors, and other executing parties
• Monitor planning, budget, quality, safety, and project risks
• Intensively coordinate with care departments, facility management, technical services, and other stakeholders
• Ensure minimal disruption to the hospital organization during execution
• Responsible for correct delivery, handover, and aftercare of the projects

What they ask

• Demonstrable experience as an architectural project leader within a hospital or similar complex healthcare environment (strict requirement)
• Experience with comparable architectural projects, such as roof renovations, parking garages, or large-scale renovation projects
• Experience with projects from a Multi-Year Maintenance Plan (MJOP)
• Thorough knowledge of architecture and sufficient technical knowledge of E- and W-installations to manage integrally
• Experience working in a continuously operational environment, where safety, accessibility, and continuity of processes are central
• Strong communication skills and experience with stakeholder management
