An organization is looking for a team leader who brings together ICT and security. This person ensures that employees can work effectively, systems are reliably available, and information remains secure.
What you will do.
- Lead the ICT & Security team.
- Responsible for the integrated management of ICT and the organization-wide security domain (national and international).
- Ensure a cohesive approach to physical security, information security, and IT/cybersecurity in line with ISO 27001, laws and regulations, and organizational objectives.
- The team provides local ICT support at various locations.
- ICT includes, in addition to regular office applications, an extensive and complex network of facility-bound measurement and control systems and data acquisition systems that must remain operational 24/7.
- You combine leadership with in-depth knowledge of ICT and security and are an important discussion partner for management and employees.
Team responsibilities.
- Management, licenses, and maintenance of computers, software, and mobile devices.
- Network and technical ICT support.
- Cybersecurity and information security, data security, and privacy.
- Within the team, the roles of Security Officer (organization-wide) and IT Security Officer (at specific locations) are also positioned.
Specific responsibilities of the team leader.
- Managing, coaching, and developing the team.
- Developing, advising on, and implementing the ICT and security vision and strategy.
- Ensuring the preconditions under which the Security Officer and IT Security Officer can independently and effectively carry out their responsibilities.
- Coordinating ICT and security projects and improvement trajectories, including alignment with all stakeholders within the organization, including international locations.
- Ensuring appropriate processes around incidents, changes, and risks within the organization.
- Monitoring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and internal policy frameworks.

- A connecting and results-oriented team leader who understands that ICT and security are not ends in themselves, but preconditions for a well-functioning organization.
- Combines a people-oriented leadership style with sufficient substantive knowledge and organizational sensitivity.
- Can easily switch between strategic issues and daily practice.
- Knows how to reduce complex ICT and security issues to clear choices and concrete actions.
- Proactive, decisive, and strong in communication.
- Dares to discuss risks and bottlenecks, but always looks for feasible solutions.
- Gives employees trust and responsibility and creates an environment where people can develop.
- Understands that ICT & Security in an operational test environment requires flexible on-site support.
- Also has an eye for the broader interest of the organization and understands the balance between continuity, ease of use, security, privacy, compliance, and costs.
What they ask
- A relevant HBO or WO education, for example, ICT, information management, or information security.
- Several years of relevant experience within ICT and/or information security.
- Experience in managing and developing employees and teams.
- Knowledge of ICT infrastructure, modern workplace environments, and technology related to data acquisition and measurement and control systems.
- Affinity with cybersecurity, data security, and privacy.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and security frameworks.
- The ability to prioritize and maintain an overview in an environment where various interests and ICT and security issues play simultaneously.
- Good communicative and organizational skills.
- A pragmatic, connecting, and solution-oriented attitude.
- Good command of Dutch, English, and preferably also German.
