You are an experienced technical professional from the tank container world who enjoys using their knowledge to develop people and technology. A specialized organization is looking for an experienced technical professional who knows the tank container world inside out. Someone who understands what is involved in practice and who enjoys sharing their knowledge with others to elevate their skill level. In this role, you play an important part within the internal academy.
You develop technical and safety training for employees, from mechanics and workshop staff to cleaners. You ensure that new and experienced colleagues have the right knowledge and skills to perform their work safely, qualitatively, and professionally. Additionally, based on your technical expertise, you are involved in projects, engineering, and complex issues on the shop floor.
You are a mentor, sparring partner, and point of contact for colleagues and help the organization continuously improve in terms of people, products, and processes.
What you will do.
- You take the lead in the internal academy in the development and coordination of technical education, training, and toolboxes.
- You develop introductory, safety, and practical training, tailored to the activities of each department.
- You help employees grow in their profession and stimulate knowledge transfer between experienced and less experienced colleagues.
- You are the technical point of contact and support colleagues with complex issues.
- You support and contribute to the calculation of technical projects, such as refurbishments, modifications, and construction work on tank containers.
- You are a sparring partner for engineering and operations on technical issues and larger client projects.
- You assess technical feasibility, risks, quality, and execution based on your practical experience.
- You identify improvement points from the shop floor, coordinate the follow-up of the complaints box and safety signals, and translate these into practical solutions and training.
- You help to record and secure technical knowledge, work instructions, and procedures within the organization.

- Extensive experience within the tank container industry.
- Broad knowledge of maintenance, repair, modification, and construction work on tank containers.
- MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably technical.
- Experience with technical projects, work preparation, or technical coordination.
- Ability to convey technical knowledge clearly and practically.
- Affinity with coaching, mentorship, and providing training.
- Eye for quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
- Possession of own transport.
