Contribute to balanced solutions within environmental law for a safe and livable city.
- Work on complex issues related to permit granting and enforcement.
- Ensure that decisions under the Environmental Act are robust.
What you will do.
- Legal point of contact for colleagues, management, chain partners, and residents.
- Represent a government organization in objection and appeal procedures, and higher appeal.
- Participate in informal consultations and mediation as a legal representative of the board.
- Collaborate with permit issuers, environmental plan advisors, and other specialists.
- Contribute to finding solutions and consider diverse interests and legislation.
What they ask
- Minimum a completed HBO (higher professional education) legal degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal advisor in environmental law.
- Knowledge and mastery of environmental law (Environmental Act and related legislation, jurisprudence, and parliamentary documents).
- Knowledge and mastery of administrative procedural law.
Preferences.
- Minimum a completed HBO legal degree specializing in Environmental Law.
- Preferably more than 3 years of experience as an environmental law legal advisor.
- CV provided with recent and relevant references (with contact details) or these can be provided immediately upon request.
- The reference must contain at least: the name of the organization, the name and function of the contact person, contact details (phone number and/or email address).
