What you will do. As a junior doctor in Occupational Medicine, you will conduct consultations with employees who are absent from work or at risk of absence. You will assess their medical situation and capacity for work, and explore possibilities to remain or return to work responsibly. You will look beyond the medical complaint, investigating which factors play a role in recovery, what this means for work, and what steps the employee and employer can take towards sustainable return to work.
You will be guided by experienced occupational physicians and other professionals and will gain increasing independence as you gain experience.
What they ask Experience in occupational medicine is not required. However, we are looking for a doctor who is curious about a broader perspective on health and wishes to develop further.
