In this challenging and varied role, you will work among approximately 40 enthusiastic colleague advisors and supervisors within a Living Environment team at a government organization. You will advise colleagues, municipalities, and the province on various soil aspects.
What you will do.
- Assess research reports, remediation notifications, and evaluations (both under the Soil Protection Act and the Environmental Act) and "Excavation" notifications.
- Advise colleagues on permit and enforcement procedures, unusual incidents, and final soil investigations.
- Contribute to the assessment of groundwater monitoring.
- Grant customized regulations in the field of groundwater and/or wastewater discharges.
Profile
- An advisor who can contribute with full enthusiasm from their expertise and is a true team player.
- The package of tasks will be further tailored depending on experience and specialization.
What they ask
- Completed HBO/WO technical education in the field of soil.
- Work experience assessing soil reports and drafting advice.
- Knowledge of other relevant environmental laws and regulations, including the Environmental Act (Omgevingswet).
- Minimum three years of VTH experience with the government.
Preferences.
- VTH experience: 3 to 5 years or more.
- Affinity with work within an environmental service.
- Immediate start.
