Design Teamlead

Are you a creative organizer with a passion for design, digital media, and team coordination?

  • Do you want to contribute for a few months to the image of a leading beauty brand in the Benelux?
  • As Design Teamlead, you are responsible for coordinating the Digital & Graphic Design team.
  • You ensure that all creative projects are efficiently distributed, followed up, and delivered with quality.
  • Together with your team, you work on the visual development of commercial and corporate communication for an organization active in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
  • This includes web pages, folders, marketing books, B2B communication, and other marketing expressions.
  • You combine a coordinating role with a hands-on contribution as a designer and act as an important link between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the design team.

What you will do.

  • Coordinate and distribute the work planning within the Digital & Graphic Design team.
  • Monitor deadlines, quality, and progress of creative projects.
  • Manage, guide, and support designers in their daily activities.
  • Improve processes, workflows, and collaboration within the team.
  • Identify and implement new developments and innovative solutions within digital design.
  • Actively contribute to the development of digital and graphic communication expressions.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to achieve consistent brand communication.

Profile

  • Education: You have a bachelor's level of work and thinking.
  • Experience: You have several years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Team player: You have experience managing projects or coordinating a team.
  • Multilingual: You communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Digitally skilled: You work proficiently with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Creative: You have thorough knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
  • Technically proficient: You have knowledge of web design and web technologies such as HTML and CSS. You can work with websites (Hybirs/CommerceCloud/Wordpress) and CMS systems.
  • Analytical: You are familiar with usability, SEO, and web analytics (Google Analytics).
  • Stress-resistant: You maintain an overview and deliver quality, even when deadlines approach.
