You will work with vulnerable people facing psychological fragility, addiction, a history of homelessness, and intellectual disabilities. The goal is to guide them towards greater independence and participation in society.
What you will do.
- Guide participants towards set goals, in line with recovery plans
- Develop skills, such as independent living and household tasks
- Increase self-reliance, for example in the area of substance use or self-care
- Participate in society, through social contacts and appropriate daytime activities
- Provide assistance with basic care tasks, in the area of personal hygiene
- Provide input and advice to colleagues
- Activate participants for activities outside their room, such as walking, relaxing in the garden, or running errands
Profile
- Completed a relevant MBO4 education (Social Work, MMZ, Personal Supervisor, SPW, Nursing, etc.), or are close to completing your education
- Value building personal connections
- Be resilient, able to work independently and collaboratively in a driven team
- Have no issue with irregular shifts
- Be willing to listen and address the story first, then the problem
- Be able to travel independently, as the location is less accessible by public transport
