What you do
As an Absence Case Manager, you are the director of the absence process. You monitor the progress of files, advise employers, and encourage employees towards a sustainable return to work.
- Guiding and monitoring employee absence trajectories.
- Determining the right course within the absence process, together with employers and employees.
- Implementing and monitoring appropriate interventions to promote recovery.
- Advising employers on social security, claims management, and absence-related issues.
- Maintaining contact with employees and motivating and activating them during the reintegration process.
- Identifying stagnation and discussing difficult situations when necessary.
- Collaborating with company doctors, occupational experts, and other involved professionals.
- Coordinating with reintegration coaches and determining when additional guidance is desirable.
- Meticulously maintaining files and monitoring legal deadlines and administrative processes.
Profile
You are at the beginning of your career and want to develop yourself within the field of absence management. You are a strong communicator, know how to maintain an overview, and dare to take responsibility.
- A completed HBO bachelor's degree.
- At least 1 to 3 years of work experience in a business environment, for example, within HR, absence management, or the flex industry.
- Willingness to follow and successfully complete the HBO-accredited courses 'Regie op Verzuim' (Absence Management) and 'Regie op Ziektewet' (Sickness Benefits Act Management).
- A proactive work attitude and the ability to set priorities.
- Empathy combined with a critical and analytical perspective.
- Accuracy and stress resistance, even when the workload increases.
- The ambition to further develop yourself within case management.
