Leisure and Education Employee

• Develop and supervise educational activities offered during non-school periods and project weeks.
• Translate creative ideas into practical, educational, and challenging activities that resonate with young people's experiences.
• Provide care for young people when no temporary educational offerings are available, with appropriate alternative learning activities.
• Collaborate with a team across various focus areas, including education, artistic development, sports, activity guidance/socio-cultural work, the media library, and vocational training.
• Develop a varied range of activities focused on relaxation, development, and meaningful daily engagement, always considering individual needs, possibilities, and group dynamics.
• Manage annual planning, organize, and coordinate (large-scale) activities.
• Monitor budget, necessary resources, and material management.
• Align content of activities and agreements with involved internal and external disciplines.
• Guide group processes and encourage young people to participate actively.
• Create a safe environment where young people can develop, while simultaneously ensuring order, peace, and safety.
• Act professionally in challenging situations through clear communication and a de-escalating approach.

What they ask

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in activity guidance.
• Relevant group experience with youth and didactic skills.

• Demonstrable MBO 4 work and thinking level (assessed with a capacity test if no diploma).
