A municipal organization is working on a civil engineering project involving the renewal of a 3.3 km asphalt road, including separate cycle paths, embankments, and cycle bridges. The assignment requires independence, results-orientation, and a proactive attitude. You will work on a self-employed basis and receive a market-conform rate.
What you will do.
- Map the environment and identify stakeholders and their interests
- Organize information meetings
- Take into account consultation procedures and document wishes and objections from residents
- Report findings back to the project organization
- Coordinate and monitor communication and participation during the implementation phase, with environmental management primarily handled by the contractor
- Deliver a fully transferable environmental management file, including stakeholder analysis, communication and participation documentation, and procedures for handling damages and complaints
Profile
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as an environmental manager within civil engineering or GWW projects
- Experience with stakeholder management, resident communication, damage handling, and complaint management in infrastructural projects
- Demonstrable experience with environmental management during both the preparation and execution phases
- A plus: experience with projects valued at €5 million or more
- A plus: experience with resident participation and process management related to damage and maintenance
