- The Software Algorithms & Control team within the organization's Flow Division plays a vital role in developing software for flowmeter products, with a specific focus on signal processing.
- You will join a multidisciplinary project team.
What you do
- Responsible for the specification, design, implementation, and testing of embedded software.
- Report functionally to the project manager.
- Design, develop, and debug embedded software for flowmeter products, emphasizing signal processing and analog-to-digital conversion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, conduct simulations, and ensure product performance.
- Prototype, test, and integrate embedded software with hardware components.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and validate software functionality throughout development.
What they ask
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in embedded software design and development using C and C++; experience with Python is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS), microcontroller architectures, embedded system design concepts, and development tools used in embedded software.
- Experience with signal processing techniques, including understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms and applications.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, especially SCRUM.
- Experience using Git; familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD workflows is a strong advantage.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
