As a Care Assistant Plus, you contribute to a safe and trusted environment for clients with dementia and complex care needs in a specialized department. You get to know them well and look beyond the behavior you observe.
What you will do.
- Provide personal care and guidance tailored to the individual needs of clients.
- Assist with daily care and perform appropriate nursing technical actions.
- Closely monitor changes in clients' health and behavior.
- Work with recognizable routines and offer calm, clarity, and proximity.
- Collaborate with caregivers, nurses, therapists, and relatives to understand behavior and find the best approach.
- Recognize small signals to make a difference in clients' daily lives.
Profile
- MBO 2 diploma Care Assistant, supplemented with the 'plus' module.
- Affinity with clients with dementia and complex care needs.
- Experience in psychogeriatrics is a significant advantage.
- Calm, observant, and able to provide clarity and structure.
- Open and curious perspective on behavior.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and dares to ask for help or advice when needed.
- Eager to further develop yourself within specialized dementia care.
