The focus is on managing complex (safety) cases within a government organization. You will lead the process and participate in evaluations where necessary. At the end of the decision, you will jointly evaluate the situation and determine whether the goals have been achieved and whether further intervention is needed. You will deal with many different issues, ranging from simple questions (parenting support, therapy) to very complex issues (safety, out-of-home placement, crisis, closed placements).
What you will do.
- Manage complex (safety) cases.
- Participate in evaluations where necessary.
- Evaluate the situation at the end of the decision and determine the need for further intervention.
- Implement the action plan to achieve goals in a clear and methodical way.
- Conduct discussions with parents, providers, and aid workers about 'normalizing'.
- Delve into the personal situation of the young person and their family.
- Clarify questions and search for 'the question behind the question' at the first point of contact.
- Develop an analysis and action plan together with the family.
- Ensure the decision and a warm transfer to the relevant aid worker in case of stagnation in development.
- Explicitly consider what the young person and family can do themselves and what role their own network and social base can play.
- Where appropriate, offer short-term support for common parenting and upbringing questions.
- Address low-threshold requests for help as a contact person at a primary school and collect signals.
- Signal broader developments and contribute to prevention.
- Signal insecurity and act accordingly within the applicable frameworks.
- Reflect on case studies, share experiences, and contribute to thinking about developments within the social team.
Profile

- You are SKJ registered with the obligation to maintain this registration.
- Specific youth knowledge and curiosity about other domains within the social team (Participation, WMO, debt counseling).

- Obligation to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
- Completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in social work or pedagogy.
- Recent experience as a youth professional within a government organization (no longer than 6 months ago).
- Experience in independently managing a caseload within a government organization.
- SKJ registered with the obligation to maintain this registration.
