Security Officer
A government organization is looking for a security officer to strengthen its team. This organization is responsible for the surveillance and security of all locations within the Kingdom. The work is important and responsible, with continuous training by experienced instructors, including the use of force. There is a clear and stable five-week work schedule.
What you will do. As a security officer, you are the silent force at the organization's locations. You will perform a combination of tasks, including:
- Patrolling locations
- Observing irregularities and monitoring camera footage
- Detecting suspicious situations and acting effectively when necessary
- Responding to alarms and using force if the situation requires it
- Performing access controls and ensuring that only authorized persons gain access
- Operating access systems
- Providing support during emergencies
Profile
To successfully perform this role, you possess the following qualities:
- Good social and communication skills (Dutch language in word and writing)
- Mentally strong, calm, and maintaining an overview, even in stressful situations
- Vigilant, strong in detecting and assessing situations, and quick to switch
- Disciplined, mastering and effectively applying protocols and procedures
- Integral team player
What they ask
- An MBO 2 Security diploma
- Dutch nationality (can be a second nationality)
- Physically fit, actively exercising, and a healthy lifestyle
- Able to work seamlessly in 5-shift services (day/evening/night and weekend shifts)
- In possession of a B driving license (manual) and own transport for commuting
Preferences.
- Preferably, previous work experience in security or as a military
