As an innovative, modern, and dynamic regional hospital, we are looking for a medical specialist in geriatrics to further develop and strengthen the department together with an existing team. The geriatrics department offers the complete geriatric care program:
- A geriatric hospitalization unit with 72 recognized beds
- A geriatric day hospital
- A geriatric liaison function
In addition, there is a focus on external liaison to improve collaboration with residential care centers. There is a Fracture Liaison Service, in collaboration with the Rheumatology and Endocrinology departments. An osteoporosis consultation at an external campus is planned. Patient-oriented collaboration within the department with the Orthopedics services (Ortho-geriatrics) is present.
It is a recognized training center for general practitioners in training, co-assistants, and specialists in internal medicine training.
