An international industrial player has a strong investment program within an innovative plastics-to-chemicals environment. Several investment and improvement projects are currently underway on the site, with a combined value of approximately €25 million. To successfully support this growth and these investments, a Project Controls Lead / Scheduler is needed who will take on a key role in planning, project control, and reporting for the entire portfolio.
What you will do. As a Project Controls Lead / Scheduler, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules across various industrial projects. You will ensure that project teams have clear insights into planning, progress, risks, and costs, so that timely and correct decisions can be made. You will work closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction partners, and other stakeholders to translate project information into clear reports and reliable forecasts.
In addition to planning, you will also play an important role in the further development of project controls and cost control processes.
- Set up, manage, and optimize integrated project schedules
- Coordinate planning input from project managers, engineering, construction
- Monitor critical paths, dependencies, risks, and potential delays
- Perform progress analyses and forecast updates
- Set up and support cost control processes within the project portfolio
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and cost deviations
- Prepare management reports and dashboards
- Facilitate planning and project control reviews
- Act as a central point of contact for project planning and project controls
Profile
- Experience as a Project Controls Engineer, Project Controls Lead, or similar role
- Experience within industrial investment projects such as chemistry, petrochemicals, energy, pharma
- Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of cost control, forecasting, and budget monitoring is a strong asset
- Good knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of English is a plus
