Process and Privacy Coordinator
Within a department that handles privacy-sensitive data and collaborates with regional partners, temporary external expertise is needed. The goal is to ensure and improve privacy, data protection, data quality, and the design of work processes. Developments are taking place in the area of registration systems and data monitoring. This requires a professional who can connect legislation, work processes, systems, data, and the involved regional partners.
The contractor is responsible for setting up, securing, and improving privacy, information, and data processes. The objective is to further professionalize and secure privacy, data protection, processes, systems, and data quality. The contractor ensures compliance with relevant legislation and that work processes, registration, and data sharing are carefully and practically implemented.
This involves working towards a secure and efficient setup of the registration system, reliable data, and useful dashboards and management information. Regional agreements regarding data sharing will also be further secured, and collaboration between the department and regional partners will be supported.
What you do
- Implement improvement measures from DPIAs and update privacy procedures and work instructions
- Draft and maintain an up-to-date privacy regulation and set up authorization and access policy
- Optimize the setup of the registration system
- Ensure current SOKs, DVOs, and processor agreements are in place
- Establish a structural process for functional management and system improvements
- Improve data quality, monitoring, and further development of dashboards
- Provide reliable management information and figures for annual reports and accountability
What they ask
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience with privacy and data protection within a public organization
- Demonstrable experience in translating privacy legislation and/or a DPIA into concrete work processes, work instructions, and improvement measures
- Demonstrable experience with process design and process improvement and connecting policy, ICT
- Demonstrable experience with functional management/setup of a registration system and/or data quality and monitoring
- Willingness to use own laptop and mobile device (BYOD)
Preferences.
- Experience with Wpg and SUWI, in addition to AVG (GDPR), within a public or regional context
- Experience with privacy and data processing within the domain of youth, compulsory education, RMC, or similar departments
- Experience with specific registration systems and dashboards or comparable systems
- Experience with regional collaboration between multiple public entities and chain partners, including making agreements on data sharing
- Demonstrable ability to translate complex privacy, process, and data issues into practical solutions and implement them independently
