For the preparation, execution, and evaluation of Provincial Council Elections and Water Board Elections, a government organization is looking for an independently operating contractor to fulfill the role of Elections Project Leader. The assignment aims to achieve a lawful, timely, and efficient organization of both elections, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The contractor is independently responsible for how the agreed-upon results are achieved.
What you do
- Drawing up, monitoring, and updating the project plan.
- Coordinating the preparation, execution, and evaluation of the elections.
- Setting up, testing, and implementing the Central Vote Counting System (CSO).
- Drawing up process descriptions, work instructions, and handbooks.
- Advising on the setup of polling and counting locations.
- Coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifying risks and advising on control measures.
- Coordinating the processes around vote counting and results processing.
- Advising on the application of laws and regulations within the election process.
What they ask
- Valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) required, requested based on screening profiles 11, 12, 13, and 41.
- Demonstrable HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
- Demonstrable experience with the complete election process: from preparation and planning up to and including election day, counting, and determination of results.
- Demonstrable experience with setting up and using the Central Vote Counting System (CSO).
Preferences.
- Experience as a project leader within a municipal or government organization.
- Experience with organizing Provincial Council and Water Board Elections.
