An interior design studio is looking for an Interior Designer/Project Coordinator for project-based collaboration. The scope of the role may vary depending on the size and stage of each project. Some projects may require support mainly with 2D/3D drawings and technical detailing, while others may include furniture design, supplier coordination, site follow-up, and overall project coordination.
What you will do.
- Preparing 2D floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings
- Creating 3D models and visualizations
- Developing bespoke furniture and joinery drawings
- Preparing lighting, electrical, and other execution drawings
- Translating design concepts into clear technical documentation
- Coordinating with suppliers, contractors
- Following quotations, orders, deliveries, and project planning
- Attending site visits and following project progress
- Supporting project execution, quality control, and final delivery
- Working closely with the team throughout the project
What they ask
- Background in Interior Design, Interior Architecture
- Strong 2D and technical drawing skills
- Experience with AutoCAD and 3D software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Enscape
- Good understanding of materials, detailing, and furniture design
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, responsible
- Comfortable communicating with suppliers, contractors
- Able to work independently while also being part of the project team
- Professional English; Dutch is a strong advantage
Profile
- Experience in high-end residential interiors, bespoke furniture, and project coordination is a strong advantage.
Practical
- This is initially a project-based collaboration, with the possibility of developing into a longer-term working relationship.
