What you do
As Head of Operations, you will lead and coordinate field service activities. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and lead a diverse team of specialists, including:
- Field staff
- Sounding masters
- Drillers
- Surveyors
- Geomonitoring staff
Key tasks include:
- Assisting the Operations Manager and conducting R&D for field-related matters
- Coordinating and guiding field staff during project execution
- Monitoring the quality, safety, and efficiency of execution
- Maintaining contacts with clients and suppliers
- Managing equipment and materials, including investment proposals
- Handling personnel management, such as performance reviews and hour control
- Supervising compliance with HSE rules and environmental regulations
What they ask
- MBO+ (Dutch vocational education) work and thinking level
- Minimum 5 years of experience in soil investigation
- Practical experience in geotechnics
- Driving license B and VOL-VCA certificate
- Knowledge of relevant execution standards and protocols
