A 24-hour residential facility offers support to clients with mild or moderate intellectual disabilities. 18 clients live in the residence, and there are apartments for clients with more independence who still receive support.
What you will do.
- Support clients with mild intellectual disabilities (MID) in understanding their environment.
- Help build healthy relationships.
- Work on strengthening skills and independence.
- Collaborate closely with family and other professionals.
- Respond to the client's needs.
- Stimulate growth and independence.
- Ensure a safe, trusted environment.
- Translate possibilities into a personal care plan.
- Coordinate care.
- Be the first point of contact for the client and relatives.
- Support colleagues with your expertise.
Profile
- Enthusiastic and driven supervisor.
- Experience with clients with mild or moderate intellectual disabilities is a plus, but not a requirement.
- MBO4 working and thinking level.
- Willingness to work carefully with vulnerable clients.
- The application for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is part of the selection procedure.
- Reference checks and requesting information from the Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate are part of the selection procedure.
