The medical imaging department of a healthcare institution offers advanced radiology techniques.
- The multidisciplinary team consists of dynamic technologists, care assistants, and logistics assistants, coordinated by specialized radiologists.
- The role is for the Radiology department.
What you will do.
- Be part of the nursing and care team.
- Be responsible for department-specific support tasks and patient-oriented comfort care.
- Provide support to technologists to free up more time for direct patient care.
- Take care of the patient's environment.
- Participate in the preparation and distribution of meal trays and snacks.
- Observe hospital hygiene rules, both regarding patient contact and during hotel tasks, equipment maintenance, waste disposal, and the transport of samples to the laboratory.
- Communicate smoothly and clearly, adapting to the interlocutor.
- Provide logistical support to nursing and care staff: checking, tidying, restocking, packing, cleaning, and disinfecting materials.
- Ensure the transport of materials from the care department to all other departments and vice versa.
- Assist with material supply and inventory management.
What they ask
- Diploma of "Logistics assistant for healthcare institutions".
- Organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingualism Dutch/French. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly while remaining a team player.
- Openness to issues related to cultural diversity in a hospital environment.
Practical
- Fixed-term contract (6 months, possibly renewable).
- Remuneration according to IFIC scale CAT8 with recognition of relevant seniority.
