Organizational Development and Process Optimization Director
As a Process Supervisor, you are responsible for guiding a cluster within a government organization. You will guide the organization during the exploration of a future-proof setup for support and assessment within Wmo and Youth services. You will form the connecting link between project management, management, and employees, ensuring that process analysis, change management issues, and organizational impact are viewed coherently.
The assignment explicitly focuses on the human side of change and the business side of optimizing activities and processes. The role is temporary and aimed at sustainably strengthening the organization, not at taking over line responsibility.
What you will do.
- Map work processes, tasks, and responsibilities coherently
- Guide employees and stakeholders in exploring improvement opportunities
- Create support for possible changes
- Introduce new working methods, including guiding employees and involved departments
- Identify opportunities for task shifts, standardization, automation, and AI support
- Investigate the consequences of changes for roles, functions
- Support management in making well-founded choices
- Ensure that process improvement goes hand in hand with workability, quality, and employee involvement
- Guide knowledge development of new and existing working methods within the team
- Identify and realize process optimization, automation, and task shifting
- Analyze current work processes
- Identify inefficiencies, redundancies
- Develop improvement proposals
- Advise on standardization, simplification
- Investigate future task distribution between clusters
- Advise on process ownership
- Support issues related to roles, responsibilities
- Clarify consequences for required competencies
- Guide employees during the research process
- Organize workshops and dialogue meetings
- Gather practical experiences and improvement suggestions
- Stimulate support and involvement
- Identify concerns, resistance, and development needs
- Translate organizational goals into understandable changes for employees
- Support managers in communicating about changes
- Ensure a careful and transparent approach
- Provide input for the project's final recommendation
- Substantiate scenarios for future setup
- Advise on implementation conditions for a successful follow-up phase
