We are looking for a concierge to ensure the daily functioning of an apartment building. This is a key role, in contact with residents, offering great autonomy and a clear framework.
What you do
Ensure the good condition and safety of the building and residents:
- Perform checks throughout the building and its immediate surroundings
- Note anomalies in common areas, prepare a brief report, and communicate it to the management
- Ensure compliance with internal regulations
- Regularly check the operational status of building lighting, heating systems, safety devices, elevators, water and fire valves, meters, etc.
- Clearly list and keep in order the keys to common areas
Be the point of contact in the building:
- Note complaints and wishes from residents and encountered problems/incidents, and transmit them to the management
- Welcome and guide service providers in the building
- Ensure the display of notices in common areas
- Distribute mail from the Owners' Association to the management
Maintain common areas and the immediate surroundings:
- In collaboration with cleaning staff, ensure the perfect cleanliness of alleys, sidewalks, and common areas of garages
- Regularly clean drains and check sumps in basements
- Oversee the garden: maintenance of planters, benches, etc.
- Manage waste bins/containers: control the deposit of bins in the designated area, sort if necessary, and take them out to the street on the fixed day and time according to their nature and type
- Snow removal and salt spreading, if necessary, to secure access, exits
Execute minor maintenance and repair work:
- Various technical interventions related to the maintenance and preservation of the building, such as troubleshooting, repairs, repainting, etc.
- Adapt nameplates on mailboxes and intercoms according to information from the management
- Manage current small supplies
