You will work within the Finance & Risk reporting organization of a large Dutch financial institution.
- The team builds the data products that finance and risk reporting run on.
- There is a need for someone who can analyze the code and data and sort out issues, given the many open problems and changes with fixed delivery dates.
What you do
- Build new and changed data functionality for several finance and risk use cases, using SQL and Python.
- Check it against the requirements and acceptance criteria before it goes to release.
- When figures don't match, find out why, document it, and follow up until the fix has been through the test cycle.
What they ask
- A master's degree and data management experience in banking, ideally in Finance and Risk.
- Ability to write SQL and Python code independently.
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, ADLS, PySpark, and Airflow, with demonstrable production use.
- Understanding of what regulators require from finance and risk data.
- Experience within the Dutch financial sector is a plus.
- Good English language skills (CV must be in English).

- The client does not accept freelancers for this position.
- You live in the Netherlands and already have the right to work here. Visa sponsorship is not possible.
