What you will do.
- Provide care for patients requiring both psychiatric and somatic support, such as patients with psychosis, severe depression, eating disorders, or neuropsychiatric conditions.
- Offer psychiatric guidance, assistance with daily care, administer medication via infusion, provide stoma care, or support complex diagnostics.
- Work closely with psychiatrists, assistant doctors, psychologists, sociotherapists, nurses, and occupational therapists to determine necessary care and ensure safe treatment.
- Coordinate unplanned admissions during psychiatric emergency care in the evenings and on weekends.
- Contribute to departmental continuity, get to know patients and treatment processes, participate in improvements, and take part in projects.
Profile
- An mbo or hbo Nursing diploma.
- A valid BIG registration.
- At least one year of experience in a hospital or at least two years of experience in psychiatric care.
Preferences.
- Experience in guiding patients in crisis situations.
- Knowledge of de-escalation communication techniques.
- Interest in hospital psychiatry, High & Intensive Care, or a future role as a coordinating nurse.
