As a civilian employee within a defense organization, you contribute to peace and security. This is an "intake pool" function, welcoming talented new colleagues for deployment in various roles within the organization. A regular position is expected within three years, with a concrete set of tasks in the interim. As a contract manager, you are the link between the defense organization and strategic partners at an airbase. These partners perform work on, for example, fighter jets.
You are responsible for managing and monitoring established agreements and procedures in various strategic contracts. You are the first point of contact for partners and the face of the Account Management Partners section and the defense organization. Additionally, you maintain relationships with other departments and squadrons. The section operates based on the CATS CM contract management methodology. You actively contribute to the development of a new department.

What they ask
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- Completed HBO or university education, supplemented with a contract management training (e.g., CM Partner, NEVI, Conducto)
- Extensive knowledge and experience in contract management and/or procurement
- Insight into organizational and functional relationships within internal and external bodies
- Good command of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience within the public sector is a plus
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented
- Proficient in stakeholder management
- Financial and analytical insight
- Ability to closely monitor progress and results
Practical
- Placement within an intake pool for civilian personnel
- A security screening and reference check (upon request) are part of the selection procedure
- An assessment may be part of the selection procedure
- Dutch nationality is required
