The research department of a government organization conducts integrity investigations. You will work as a member or chairman of a research committee. Investigations can be person-oriented (suspicions of integrity violations, abuses) or non-person-oriented (learning and culture studies). Reports are received via an internal reporting point or supervisors. You will discuss with advisors whether reports contain sufficient concrete facts to justify a form of investigation.
After an exploratory phase and assessment, you will draw up a research assignment for the client, after which a research committee will be formed. The results will be recorded in a report and discussed with the client. You will also contribute to knowledge expansion and professionalization in the field of integrity and research within the organization, including through working groups and presentations.

- Academic working and/or thinking level, for example in social sciences (psychology, criminology) or law
- For military personnel: a successfully completed MDV
- Professional knowledge in research techniques, particularly in the field of integrity or complaints procedures, or demonstrable experience to quickly acquire these skills

- Accurate, results-oriented, analytically minded, and capable of conceptual thinking
- Communicatively skilled, organizationally sensitive, and able to conduct good conversations
