Daily, various professionals across multiple departments work on themes such as social safety, internationalization, cyber and information security, physical security, building safety, occupational health and safety, and environment. The Integrated Security department of a technical university ensures mutual coordination.
What you will do.
- Contribute to the strategy of Integrated Security
- Operationally and tactically responsible for incident management of acute events
- Responsible for a multitude of (complex) projects and processes
- Participate in the crisis team of a faculty or service
- Write policy texts
- Conduct risk analyses and investigations
- Prepare security risk forecasts
- Create unifying policy between safety, security
- Maintain contacts with police, fire department, and security services, among others
- Represent the organization in networks and partnerships
Profile
- Solid knowledge of security and safety
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with government agencies in the enforcement and security chain
- Ability to operate as an equal discussion partner
- Capable of developing new initiatives in the field of integrated security, weighing them, and assessing their feasibility
- Willingness to be available 24/7 via an on-call schedule (picket duties) for security incidents and calamities
- No 9-to-5 mentality
