Cluster Support for Out of School Care and Activities

As a cluster support for out-of-school care and activities (BOA), you will work within one or more cross-network clusters of schools, care locations, and their partners. Together, you will develop a qualitative, accessible, and diverse out-of-school offering during the school year and holidays. In the first year, you will help initiate the cluster collaboration.

What you will do.

  • Together with partners, you will develop a varied and accessible range of activities, taking into account affordability for both parents and providers.
  • You will guide schools and care initiatives in meeting the conditions of the recognition framework and support them in developing quality operations.
  • You will coordinate the care and activity offerings and collaborate with other clusters and neighborhood and city partners.
  • You will advise on the recruitment of supervisors and volunteers and support in drafting personnel planning.
  • You will contribute to policy development regarding accessibility, infrastructure and materials, and competency development for supervisors.
  • You will identify needs and report on progress and approach within the cluster(s).
  • You will stimulate collaboration within the cluster(s) and organize consultations with local partners.

What they ask

  • You have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent diploma.
  • You have 1 year of relevant professional experience in organizing and coordinating as a main task.
  • At the start, you meet the general conditions.
  • A recent CV stating exact employment dates and job content is required.
  • Final-year students can participate with proof of enrollment.
  • For a foreign diploma, an equivalence certificate or level determination from NARIC is required.

Practical

  • The selection procedure includes an eliminatory short oral part (may be cancelled if there are fewer than 10 valid candidates).
