The SGU team treats victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation or repeated sexual violence within a dependency relationship, where migration is part of the complexity of the problem and contextual knowledge and cultural sensitivity are necessary.
The multidisciplinary team is constantly evolving and consists of, among others, a psychiatrist, clinical psychologists, health psychologists, and an art therapist. The patients treated often have a forced migration background, which is why we work from a culturally sensitive perspective. We offer multidisciplinary treatment tailored to this unique context and the experiences of the target group. We focus on specialized trauma treatment, offering both individual and group treatment.
In addition to treatment, we also focus on continuous innovation, knowledge development, and scientific research, with the dissemination of knowledge through presentations, consultations, and publications to various organizations and chain partners. We also collaborate intensively with various partners.
What you do
- Manage intake, diagnostics, and indication setting, and bear final responsibility for treatment plans for complex and highly complex problems.
- Act as the primary therapist and perform specialized treatments, including crisis intervention and risk assessment.
- Direct multidisciplinary treatment trajectories, monitor the quality and coherence of care, and coordinate with internal and external chain partners.
- Actively contribute to policy development, quality improvement, and the implementation of innovative treatment programs.
- Initiate, translate, and implement scientific insights into practice and contribute to the further development of the field.
- Fulfill an expert role through consultation, supervision, and training, and contribute to the professional development of specialists.
Profile
- BIG registration as a clinical psychologist;
- Work experience in various settings and specific expertise in psychodiagnostics and conducting intakes are recommended;
- Experience and affinity with the treatment of psychotrauma;
- Ability to transfer knowledge and skills;
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team;
- Perseverance to make a difference, broad knowledge within mental health care and the chain can be an added value.
Practical
- An up-to-date Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required; the costs will be reimbursed.
