Working in elderly psychiatry is dynamic and complex, due to the interplay between psychological complaints, life-phase issues, and often additional somatic and/or cognitive complaints.
- The department of a healthcare organization sees people aged 60 and older for diagnosis and treatment of various complex psychological problems.
- The combination of psychiatric complaints, life-phase issues, and somatic complaints makes each care question an interesting challenge.
What you will do.
- You will play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of clients.
- You will work multidisciplinarily with colleagues such as SPV nurse, PIT nurse, Nurse Specialist, or Psychiatrist.
- You will regularly consult and brainstorm with colleagues, other healthcare professionals, and relatives.
- Approximately 95% of clients come to the outpatient clinic; occasionally, a home visit may be necessary.

- Completed training as a GZ-psychologist with BIG registration and AGB code.
- Possesses a LOGO declaration.
- You listen to the client's full story and find appropriate treatment paths in the complexity of each care request.
- You can work well independently, but also enjoy collaborating with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team.
- You can reflect well on your own actions and discuss issues.
- You can give and receive feedback effectively.
- You recognize yourself in the core values: appropriate, trust, connecting, and resilient.
