E&I Project Engineer

For an industrial organization, an experienced E&I Project Engineer is sought with strong technical expertise in Electrical & Instrumentation. You will contribute to various industrial CAPEX projects and modifications to existing installations (MOC). You will be responsible for the technical E&I scope and will follow projects from scope definition and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

What you will do.

  • Define and elaborate the E&I scope, design criteria, specifications, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Execute and coordinate engineering around LV/MV distribution, switchgear, transformers, protections, grounding, cabling, instrumentation, metering, and control interfaces.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary technical interfaces and align with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review engineering documentation from contractors and suppliers, technical offers, and any deviations.
  • Formulate clear and practically executable technical recommendations.
  • Ensure that designs comply with applicable legislation, project requirements, and company standards.
  • Plan and follow up on E&I deliverables, technical reviews, interfaces, risks, and action points.
  • Timely identify and communicate technical risks to project management.
  • Support inspections, FAT/SAT, testing, energization, commissioning, punch-list closure, and handover.

Profile

  • Extensive experience in E&I project engineering in an industrial, energy, chemical, or process environment.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
