Housekeeping Assistant
You will work for a care organization that provides treatment, guidance, and care to people with acquired brain injury (ABI) and/or a chronic illness. The organization believes in a tailored approach and encourages clients to develop and lead an independent life. You will contribute to improving the quality of life for residents, who receive 24-hour care and support. The target group is diverse in age, care, and behavior.
The residential location is under development, with refined policies and the implementation of new care technology. You will work collaboratively in a team consisting of various healthcare professionals.
What you will do.
- Ensure clean and hygienic common areas and apartments at a residential location.
- Clean kitchen equipment.
- Perform household tasks together with residents.
- Support meal times (breakfast, lunch, dinner) to contribute to a pleasant and cozy atmosphere.
- Have frequent contact with residents, build a bond, and offer a listening ear.
Profile
- Good command of Dutch (important for communication with clients with brain injury).
- Enjoys hands-on work.
- No issues with working irregular shifts.
- Open to learning.
- Resilient and stands firm.
